Luxemburgo: “Real Madrid has succeeded in signing the player who will become the best in the world”

Real Madrid is living in a period of uncertainty in terms of results. Ancelotti’s team has been performing fluctuating results since the return of European football after the World Cup in Qatar. Two draws and a defeat in the last three matches portend serious danger this season.

Florentino Perez’s policy in the last three years, and specifically since the outbreak of the Covid pandemic, is to rationalize expenses and not include many deals for large sums of money. The white club has contracted with Tchoameni and Camavinga, in addition to the free Alaba and Rudiger deals.

Now, no one in the Real Madrid offices has any doubts that the team needs renewal in several positions. Left back and striker No. 9 are Real Madrid’s priorities in the next market. Benzema’s injuries and long absences have made signing a new striker a top priority, and the same is true for Ferland Mendy.

Ancelotti spoke openly about the team’s attacking woes after Sunday’s draw with Real Betis in La Liga and asserted that scoring just one set-piece goal in the last three games is a serious indication of his side’s problems up front.

Real Madrid has already succeeded in signing the young Brazilian player, Endrick, from Palmeiras, to officially join the team in 2024 when he turns 18, which is the legal age for professionalism in Brazil.

And the former Real Madrid coach, Vanderlei Luxemburgo in the 2004/2005 season, spoke about the characteristics of the young striker, saying: “He has all the qualities to become the best player in the world. Pace, Dexterity, Shooting with Both Feet, Heading. He has everything.”

In addition, Luxemburgo also decided to respond to the criticism that Endrick has been receiving for his lack of goalscoring this season: “It’s normal. He’s a 16-year-old boy who’s not quite ready.”

And the Brazilian coach continued, talking about Endrick: “He will alternate good and bad moments. The important thing is that he lifts his weight and is light, loose, smiling and enjoying playing football.”
