Mourinho chooses his favourite to win the Real Madrid vs Chelsea clash: “It’s a club close to my heart”

Jose Mourinho has enjoyed success at both Stamford Bridge and the Santiago Bernabeu, winning eight major trophies in west London – including three Premier League titles during his two spells.
Meanwhile, he led Real Madrid to glory in La Liga and the Copa del Rey during his three-year stay in the Spanish capital.
The La Liga giant hopes to win the fifteenth Champions League title to set a new record, while Chelsea wants to save the disastrous season by crowning the major tournament.
After Roma clinched its place in the quarter-finals of the European League on Thursday evening, Special One talked about the Champions League quarter-final draw that dropped Chelsea to face Real Madrid and revealed the team he hopes to win.
Mourinho said: “There is a club close to my heart and there is a coach who is my friend. Real Madrid is great and Carlo Ancelotti is great! I hope they can continue this way to win the final.”
One of Mourinho’s former teams – Inter Milan – is also still in the Champions League, where they will face Benfica for a place in the semi-finals.
Mourinho led Inter to win the Champions League in 2010, as the Italian team beat Bayern Munich 2-0 in the final.
The relationship between the Blues fans and Mourinho is tense after the Portuguese coach took over Manchester United after his departure from Chelsea, then he did the unimaginable and chose to take charge of Tottenham.
It was said in January how Mourinho remains open to accepting a third spell at Chelsea, with his wife and family still living in London. Although a turn back seems unlikely, with Chelsea owner Todd Bohle still maintaining his faith in Graham Potter.
