Benzema breaks his silence and responds to his coach: “You lie, you clown”

The coach of the French national team, Deschamps, gave an interview to the newspaper “Le Parisien”, in which he spoke, among other things, about Karim Benzema. The Real Madrid striker did not wait long to respond forcefully via his Instagram account: “You are lying, you are a liar. Didier is a clown.
It was already known that there was no good relationship between them. Benzema left the team before the start of the World Cup due to an injury that prevented him from being in Qatar, shortly after his departure was officially announced.
Deschamps recounted everything that happened, saying: “To say that I rushed the decision to exclude Benzema is an insult. There is one fact that Karim knows very well . He joined the national team camp on November 14 after a period of not playing for his club (his last match for Real Madrid was on November 2 against Celtic, where he played 26 minutes).
Dashan added, “Benzema followed an individual program and his return to group training was postponed. He, like Raphael Varane, had no options to start at 100% in the first match against Australia.
He continued, “When Karim was injured, our doctor took him to the Aspetar clinic for an MRI. Karim sent the results to a doctor in Madrid, who also gave his opinion. When he got back to the hotel, it was already past midnight. I met Karim in his room and our doctor who came to give me the MRI report.”
He continued, “I was upset because I lost an important player. Our doctor’s diagnosis coincided with Real Madrid’s medical diagnosis. He told me, “He is very injured.” In the best case, his return to training cannot come before December 10th.
And Dashan continued, “In a statement on his own account, Karim expressed his disappointment at having to surrender, but he justified this choice by his interest in the team’s interest.”
And he finished: “We stayed together for about twenty minutes. Before I left him, I told him: “Karim, there is no need to rush. You will arrange your return with the team manager. When I got up in the morning, I was surprised that he was gone from the camp. It’s his decision, and I understand and respect that.”
