Toni Kroos angry: “Real Madrid shirt is big nonsense”

This is not the first time that Toni Kroos has given his opinion on Real Madrid’s clothing. The Madrid midfielder was full of praise for the Real Madrid shirt for the 19/20 season. From his point of view, it was the most beautiful shirt he had worn throughout his career, but the current shirt did not seem to satisfy him at all.
The reason is very simple: Kroos doesn’t like the polo shirts he’s been wearing this season and he didn’t hesitate to send a very strong message to his sponsor in the podcast he shares with his brother Felix.
“This season we also have a collar shirt,” said Kroos. It’s a polo shirt, not a football shirt. I say this to all manufacturers – this is big bullshit! Collared shirts are not good, they are uncomfortable and not fun at all.”
He added: “And then you have two buttons there. They just need to add a few more buttons and we can start playing with a shirt, or what? It’s not nice…”, were Kroos’ words when he brought up the topic while talking to his brother.
If there’s a shirt he loves, it’s the 19/20 season shirt in a white design with gold detailing, and he still has a single copy of it at home.
The German midfielder continued: “It was, by far, the most beautiful shirt I have ever played in. The truth is, for a year I said to myself: We have to win a title with this shirt. If we don’t win a title with this shirt, it’s utter rudeness and disrespect for the shirt.”
And he concluded: “Thank God, in the end, we were champions. Sometimes I didn’t even want to change it. I wanted to take it home, until I was already 60, because I knew they would take it from me at some point.”
